Digha Trip Cost Breakdown 2026 | Hero Xoom 125 Budget Travel Under ₹7,500

Digha Trip Cost

Digha Trip Cost with Hero Xoom 125 – Complete Budget Breakdown (3 Days Trip)

After completing our amazing Khatra to New Digha trip with Hero Xoom 125, one of the most common questions people ask is:

👉 “How much did the whole trip cost?”

So in this blog, I will give you a complete and honest cost breakdown of our Digha trip, along with some real insights that will help you plan your own budget trip.

This was a 3 days and 2 nights trip, and we tried to keep everything budget-friendly without compromising on experience.

Hotel Cost (3 Days / 2 Nights)

Total Hotel Cost: ₹2,925

We stayed at a budget hotel in New Digha (Hotel Monalisa Inn), which offered:

  • Clean rooms
  • Basic amenities
  • Swimming pool access
  • Good location near the beach

Considering the price, the hotel was quite decent. It was not luxury, but for a budget trip, it was absolutely worth it.

👉 Tip: If you book early or travel in off-season, you can get even better deals.

Petrol Cost (518 KM Ride)

Total Petrol Cost: ₹1,200

  • Total distance covered: 518 KM
  • Mileage: Approx 46 KM/L
  • Vehicle: Hero Xoom 125

Honestly, this was one of the biggest advantages of this trip.

Doing a long ride on a scooty instead of a car saved us a lot of money.

The Hero Xoom 125 long ride performance was impressive:

  • Smooth ride
  • Good mileage
  • No major issues

👉 If you are planning a budget trip, a fuel-efficient two-wheeler can reduce your cost significantly.

Food Cost (3 Days)

Total Food Cost: ₹3,100

This includes:

  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Dinner
  • Snacks
  • Beach food (fish fry, prawns, etc.)

We tried a mix of:

  • Local dhabas
  • Beachside stalls
  • Popular restaurants like Abar Khabo

Some food was amazing, some was average — but overall, we enjoyed the experience.

👉 Real Insight:
Food cost depends heavily on your choices. If you go for premium restaurants, your budget can easily double.

Total Trip Cost

CategoryCost
Hotel₹2,925
Petrol₹1,200
Food₹3,100
Total₹7,225

👉 Total Cost: ₹7,225 for 2 people (3 days trip)

Cost Per Person

If we divide the total cost:

👉 ₹7,225 ÷ 2 = ₹3,612 per person

That means you can complete a Digha trip under ₹4,000 per person, which is quite affordable.

Is Digha a Budget-Friendly Destination?

Absolutely YES.

From our experience:

  • Travel cost is low (especially by bike/scooty)
  • Budget hotels are easily available
  • Food options for every budget
  • No expensive entry tickets required

👉 This makes Digha one of the best budget travel destinations near Kolkata / West Bengal.

Hidden Costs You Should Consider

Although our total was ₹7,225, here are some extra costs you may face:

  • Parking charges
  • Entry fees (some places)
  • Shopping (dry fish, souvenirs, etc.)
  • Emergency expenses

👉 Always keep an extra ₹1,000–₹2,000 buffer.

Why Hero Xoom 125 Was Perfect for This Trip

Doing this trip on a scooty was not just about saving money — it was about experience.

The Hero Xoom 125 long ride gave us:

  • Freedom to explore
  • Easy parking
  • Low fuel cost
  • Fun riding experience

Even with full luggage and long distance, the scooty performed really well.

Experience vs Cost – Was It Worth It?

This is the most important part.

Was this trip worth ₹7,225?

👉 100% YES.

Because:

  • We explored multiple places (Digha, Mandarmani, Shankarpur)
  • Enjoyed beach life
  • Had a long ride experience
  • Created unforgettable memories

And honestly… you can’t put a price on memories like these.

Final Thoughts – Plan Your Digha Trip Smartly

If you are planning a budget trip to Digha, here’s my advice:

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride: Digha to Khatra Return Journey | Final Part 7

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride – Our Return Journey from Digha to Khatra Comes to an End

In the previous part of our journey, we visited Digha Mohana fish market, bought fresh fish, and somehow managed to adjust a heavy 6 KG fish box on our scooty.

Now, in this final part of our Hero Xoom 125 long ride, it’s time to head back home — from Digha to Khatra — completing one of the most memorable journeys of our life.

Choosing the Route – Ramnagar, Egra, Belda Road

While returning from Digha, we had two main route options:

  1. Via Jaleswar → Kharagpur → Khatra
  2. Via Ramnagar → Egra → Belda → Medinipur → Khatra

We chose the Ramnagar → Egra → Belda route, which turned out to be a smart and scenic decision.

The roads were decent, traffic was manageable, and overall it felt like a fresh experience.

Short Break at Belda – Refresh & Recharge

After riding for a while, we reached Belda, where we took a small break at a petrol pump.

This break was important because:

  • We freshened up using the washroom
  • Took some rest after continuous riding
  • Mentally prepared for the next stretch

At this point, it was already around 2:00 PM, and we knew the journey ahead would take time.

Lunch Stop Near Medinipur – Simple & Satisfying

After covering around 20–25 KM more, we reached near Medinipur town.

By then, we were feeling hungry, so we stopped at a roadside dhaba.

We ordered:

  • Chicken masala
  • Rice plate

The food was simple but satisfying — exactly what you need during a long ride.

After lunch, we didn’t rush. We gave ourselves some time to relax, because we already understood one thing clearly:

👉 We won’t be able to reach home before sunset.

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride
Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride

Entering Jungle Mahal – The Most Peaceful Stretch

After crossing Medinipur and leaving the highway, we entered the Jungle Mahal region.

And honestly… this was one of the most peaceful parts of our entire trip.

  • Empty roads
  • Dense greenery
  • Very few vehicles
  • Complete silence

We had already seen this road while going to Digha, but that time it was morning.

Now, in the evening, the same road felt completely different — calm, mysterious, and beautiful.

Our Hero Xoom 125 long ride continued smoothly, and the scooty handled every road condition perfectly.

Evening Turns Dark – Weather Becomes a Concern

As time passed, the sun started setting.

Soon, darkness covered the jungle roads.

Thankfully, the headlights of Hero Xoom 125 were quite good, so visibility was not a big issue.

But a new problem started…

👉 The sky became cloudy
👉 There were chances of rain
👉 And we were NOT prepared

We didn’t have:

  • Raincoats
  • Waterproof luggage cover

This was one of the biggest concerns of the trip.

But instead of panicking, we decided to stay calm and go with the flow.

Light Rain & A Refreshing Experience

As we continued riding, light raindrops started falling.

At first, we were worried…

But surprisingly, it felt refreshing.

After such a long ride, those cool raindrops touching our face actually felt good.

Since the rain was not heavy, we decided to continue riding without stopping.

Final Stretch – Sarenga, Piralgadi & Lakshmisagar

By this time, we had already crossed:

  • Pedakata
  • Goaltore
  • Sarenga

We were now very close to our hometown.

We passed Piralgadi More and took a shortcut towards Lakshmisagar.

At Lakshmisagar:

  • We took a short break
  • Had some evening snacks
  • Waited a bit as rain slightly increased

Once the rain slowed down, we decided to start again.

Now, only 18 KM was left to reach home.

Last Ride in Rain – Reaching Home Safely

The final 18 KM felt special.

  • Slight rain
  • Dark roads
  • Familiar surroundings

We didn’t rush.

We rode carefully, enjoying the final moments of our Hero Xoom 125 long ride.

And finally…

👉 We reached Khatra safely

Just in time — because soon after that, the rain started getting heavier along with thunderstorm.

It truly felt like perfect timing and God’s blessing.

Trip Summary – 518 KM on a Scooty

After reaching home, I parked our scooty in the garage and checked the meter.

👉 Total distance covered: 518 KM

For us, this was a huge achievement.

  • First long ride on a scooty
  • Fully loaded travel
  • Different terrains (highway, coastal, jungle, sand)
  • No major issues

The Hero Xoom 125 long ride proved to be reliable, comfortable, and efficient throughout the journey.

Emotions at the End – Tired but Happy

We were:

  • Tired 😴
  • Happy 😊
  • Emotional ❤️

Our parents were relieved to see us back safely.
They were a bit worried when we told them about this trip earlier, but now they were proud and relaxed.

After getting fresh and having dinner, we didn’t waste any time.

We went straight to bed… and slept peacefully.

What’s Coming Next?

This journey might have ended, but the story is not over yet.

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride: Digha Mohana Fish Market | Part 6

Safarnama5

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride – Packing Memories & Leaving Digha with Mohana Fish Market Experience

In the previous part of our journey, we explored the beautiful coastal route from New Digha to Mandarmani and experienced the peaceful charm of Shankarpur Beach. That day was filled with adventure, scenic beauty, and unforgettable moments.

Now, this part begins with a slightly emotional note — because it was time to say goodbye to Digha.

A Fresh Morning & Packing for the Return Journey

The next morning started with a calm and peaceful vibe. As we woke up in our hotel room at Hotel Monalisa Inn, there was a mix of satisfaction and a little sadness in our hearts.

Trips like this always leave you with memories… and leaving those moments behind is never easy.

We got fresh, and without wasting much time, we started packing our luggage. Since we were traveling on our Hero Xoom 125, packing smartly was very important.

We adjusted all our bags carefully:

  • Front floorboard already had luggage
  • Seat shared between me and Priyunka
  • Side space was limited

Along with that, we also carried 5–6 bottles of water, as we knew the return journey would be long and hydration was important.

After wearing our riding gears and doing a final check, we checked out from the hotel and started our scooty.

Breakfast Again at New Digha – Central Canteen Experience

Before starting our return journey, we decided to have breakfast at our favorite place near the beach — the Central Canteen at New Digha Beach.

We had already visited this place earlier, and just like before, the food didn’t disappoint.

The morning atmosphere was calm, with soft sea breeze and light background music. Compared to evenings, the beach area in the morning feels peaceful and refreshing.

We enjoyed a simple yet tasty breakfast and mentally prepared ourselves for the journey ahead.

Heading Towards Digha Mohana – An Emotional Goodbye

After breakfast, we started our Hero Xoom 125 again, this time towards Digha Mohana.

The ride was short, but emotionally heavy.

As we were leaving the beach area, both of us felt a little emotional. Digha had given us so many beautiful moments — from beach walks to coastal rides, from temple visits to peaceful evenings.

It felt like saying goodbye to a place that had become special to us in just a few days.

Fuel Refill at Old Digha

Before heading further, we made a smart move — we refueled our scooty at a petrol pump in Old Digha.

For long rides like this, planning fuel stops is very important. Our Hero Xoom 125 was already giving great mileage, but still, we didn’t want to take any risk.

With a full tank and full confidence, we continued our journey towards Mohana.

Digha Mohana Fish Market – Real Local Experience

We finally reached Digha Mohana, one of the most popular fish markets in the region.

Although the market usually operates early in the morning (around 5 am to 8 pm for peak activity), we reached there around 11 am.

Even at that time, there were still plenty of shops open.

Now started the real challenge — finding fresh fish at the best price.

We explored multiple shops, compared prices, and did some bargaining (which is a must here 😄).

Finally, we selected a shop and bought:

  • 2.5 KG prawns
  • 1 KG Hilsa (Ilish)
  • 1 KG Pomfret

The quality looked fresh, and the prices were reasonable after negotiation.

Managing Fish on a Scooty – The Real Challenge

Now came the toughest part of the entire trip…

How to carry 4.5 KG of fish on a fully loaded scooty?

We bought:

  • Thermocol box – ₹150
  • Ice – ₹100

After packing everything properly, the box weighed around 6 KG.

At first, we were confused.

Where to keep it?

  • Front? Already full
  • Back? No space
  • Seat? Not possible

After some trial and error, we finally found a solution.

We placed the thermocol box inside a strong bag (thela) and hung it on the left-side grab handle of our Hero Xoom 125.

Thankfully, Priyunka was comfortable sitting even with that setup.

Honestly, this was one of those moments where jugaad meets travel experience 😄

Exploring Mohana Beach – Boats & Local Life

Before leaving, we spent some time near the Mohana beach area.

We saw several fishing boats returning from the sea. The scene was very raw and real — fishermen unloading their catch, people bargaining, and the entire place full of local energy.

It was completely different from the tourist side of Digha.

Moments like these make a trip more meaningful — because you don’t just see a place, you experience its real life.

Starting the Return Journey – Back to Khatra

Finally, it was time to begin our return journey.

We started our Hero Xoom 125 again — this time with:

  • Full luggage
  • Extra water
  • And a 6 KG fish box hanging on the side 😄

The balance of the scooty was surprisingly stable, and once again, the performance impressed us.

As we left Digha behind, we carried not just luggage…
but also memories, emotions, and experiences that will stay with us forever.

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride: Mandarmani & Shankarpur Journey from Digha | Part 5

Safarnamaonline4

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride Continues – From New Digha to Mandarmani via Coastal Road

In the previous parts of our journey (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4), we covered everything from our ride from Khatra to Digha, our beach experience, Jagannath Temple visit, pool fun, and lunch.
Now, in this part, the adventure continues with one of the most scenic rides of our trip — Mandarmani via coastal road on our Hero Xoom 125.

Starting the Ride After Lunch – Destination Mandarmani

After finishing our lunch at the popular restaurant Abar Khabo (which honestly didn’t meet our expectations), we didn’t waste much time. The real excitement of the day was waiting ahead.

We started our Hero Xoom 125 long ride towards Mandarmani, which is approximately 22–25 km from New Digha.

The weather was perfect — not too hot, not too cloudy — just the kind of day you want for a coastal ride.

As soon as we left New Digha, the traffic started reducing. The roads became quieter, smoother, and more scenic. Riding with Priyunka sitting behind me, and our fully loaded scooty performing flawlessly, the journey itself felt more beautiful than the destination.

The Coastal Road Experience – Best Part of the Journey

After a few kilometers, we entered what I would call the best stretch of our entire Digha trip — the coastal road.

On one side, there was the open sky and sea breeze…
And on the other side, greenery and empty roads.

At certain points, the sea waves were visible just beside the road — something you usually only see in movies.

This part of the Hero Xoom 125 long ride felt magical. There were very few vehicles, and the silence of the road made the experience even more special.

We slowed down a bit, took some photos, and just enjoyed the moment. These are the kinds of memories that stay forever.

Tajpur & Shankarpur – Hidden Gems Near Digha

While heading towards Mandarmani, we passed through Tajpur and Shankarpur, both of which are known beach destinations near Digha.

We didn’t stop much at Tajpur because our main target was Mandarmani. However, we decided that on our return journey, we would definitely explore Shankarpur.

The road connectivity between these places is quite good, and traveling on a scooty like Hero Xoom 125 makes it even more flexible and enjoyable.

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride
Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride

Reaching Mandarmani – Beach Ride Experience

Finally, after a smooth and enjoyable ride, we reached Mandarmani.

But the real fun started just before the beach.

There was sand everywhere — and suddenly, we remembered those scenes from movies where people ride cars and bikes on the beach.

So we decided — why not try it ourselves?

We took our Hero Xoom 125 onto the sandy path.

At first, the scooty struggled a bit, but thanks to its 14-inch wheels and stable balance, we managed to ride through the sand without getting stuck badly.

That moment was thrilling!

After riding around 100 meters on the beach, we reached a relatively empty spot. There were very few people around, which made the experience even better.

Beach Moments – Photos, Videos & Memories

Mandarmani beach felt peaceful compared to New Digha.

We parked our scooty and started clicking photos and videos for our YouTube channel.
I also recorded some clips reviewing the performance of Hero Xoom 125 long ride, especially how it handled sandy terrain.

Then came a special moment — Priyunka decided to ride the scooty herself on the beach!

It was her first time doing something like this, and honestly, she enjoyed it a lot. Watching her ride confidently on the sand made the moment even more memorable.

We spent a good amount of time there, enjoying the sea breeze, taking selfies, and just living the moment.

Return Journey – Sunset & Peaceful Shankarpur Beach

As evening approached, we decided to head back.

On our way back, we stopped at Shankarpur Beach — and honestly, this turned out to be one of the most peaceful parts of our trip.

There was proper parking available, so we parked our scooty and walked towards the beach.

Unlike New Digha, Shankarpur was less crowded, quiet, and extremely peaceful.

We found a sitting area and spent around 20–25 minutes just relaxing.

The sunset had already happened, and the evening lights created a calm and romantic atmosphere.

If you are someone who wants peace instead of crowd, I highly recommend visiting Shankarpur.

Unexpected Moment – Night View of Jagannath Temple

While returning to New Digha, something unexpected happened.

We took a wrong turn… but sometimes, wrong turns create the best memories.

That road led us behind the Jagannath Temple, New Digha.

And what we saw there was absolutely breathtaking.

The temple was beautifully lit at night, glowing like something divine. Even from outside, the view felt magical.

We stopped for a moment, folded our hands, and took blessings from Jagannath, Balram, and Subhadra.

It was a peaceful and spiritual moment in the middle of our journey.

Back to New Digha Beach – Food Over Dinner

After that, we reached New Digha Beach again.

This time, our focus was food — and we went all in!

We tried:

  • Fish fry (Bhetki)
  • Prawns
  • Octopus
  • Other local seafood

Everything was fresh and delicious.

Honestly, we ate so much that there was no space left for dinner. So we decided to skip dinner completely.

End of the Day – Back to Hotel

By the time we finished, it was around 9:30 to 10:00 PM.

We were completely tired but extremely happy.

We returned to our hotel (Hotel Monalisa Inn), parked our Hero Xoom 125, and went straight to our room.

After getting fresh, we didn’t even have the energy to talk much — we just went to bed and slept peacefully.

What’s Coming Next?

In the next part of this Hero Xoom 125 long ride series, I will share:

  • Visit to Mohana fish market
  • Buying fresh fish like prawns, pomfret & ilish
  • How we carried fish on scooty
  • Our return journey back home (~220 km)

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride – Digha, Pool Fun & Abar Khabo Lunch (Part 4)

Safarnama3

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride, Pool Fun & Abar Khabo Lunch Experience in Digha.

In the previous part of our journey, we shared how we planned to take a bath in the sea but couldn’t do so due to high tide. So, we returned to our hotel with a new plan in mind—enjoying the swimming pool instead. And honestly, this turned out to be one of the most fun and memorable moments of our Hero Xoom 125 long ride trip.

Unexpected Start to Pool Experience

The pool timing of our hotel, The Monalisa Inn, was supposed to start from 10:30 AM. But when we reached the pool area around 11:00 AM, it was still not operational. At first, we were a bit disappointed. But after requesting the hotel staff, they immediately started the pool system. Not only that, they also turned on the rain dance system and music, which made the experience even better. At that moment, it was just me and my wife Priyunka—no crowd, no noise, just pure enjoyment.

Couple Fun in the Rain Dance

I don’t really know how to swim, but I love being in the water. And since my height is around 5.8 feet, most hotel pools feel comfortable for me.So without any hesitation, we jumped in.The rain dance setup was right beside the pool, and we started enjoying like kids—laughing, splashing water, and even dancing to the music. Those 15–20 minutes felt absolutely perfect. It was peaceful, fun, and truly personal. Moments like these make a trip special—not just the destination, but the experience.

Crowd Builds Up

After some time, other guests started arriving.Within the next 30 minutes:Around 3 families joinedThe pool became a bit crowdedEven though the vibe was still good, we preferred the earlier peaceful time more. After spending almost an hour in the pool, we decided to wrap it up and move ahead with our day.

Back to Room & Ready for Lunch

We returned to our room, took a proper shower, and got ready quickly.Although our hotel offered room service, we had already decided one thing:👉 We will go out for lunch. Why?Because after lunch, we were planning to continue our Hero Xoom 125 long ride towards Mandarmani. So instead of staying in, we wanted to explore more.

Ride to Abar Khabo – A Viral Bengali Restaurant

We started our Hero Xoom 125 again and opened Google Maps. Our destination:👉 Abar Khabo – a well-known and viral Bengali restaurant in DighaDistance:👉 Around 1.5 km from our hotelThe ride was short but enjoyable, and within a few minutes, we reached the restaurant.

Abar Khabo – Ambience & First Impression

When we entered the restaurant, we noticed:Clean and decent ambienceComfortable seatingSome Bengali families already enjoying their lunchIt wasn’t very crowded, but it had a good vibe. From social media, this place has a lot of hype, so naturally, our expectations were high.

What We Ordered

We kept it simple and ordered:Bengali ThaliFish itemsPrawnsThe pricing was:👉 Decent (not too cheap, not too expensive)

Honest Food Review

Now comes the honest part. The food was good—but not as great as we expected based on the hype.Taste: Average to goodPresentation: NiceQuantity: SatisfyingBut overall, it didn’t feel “wow” or “worth the hype.”👉 This is purely our personal experience. If someone wants to try, they can definitely visit and judge based on their own taste.

Real Travel Means Honest Experience

One thing I always believe:👉 Not every popular place gives the best experience👉 And that’s okayTravel is all about:Trying new placesHaving your own opinionCreating your own storyAnd this lunch was exactly that—an experience.

Ready for the Next Ride – Mandarmani Calling

After finishing our lunch, we stepped out of the restaurant. The sun was bright, the roads were calling, and our Hero Xoom 125 was ready for the next phase. We had already planned:👉 Next destination – Mandarmani👉 On the way – Tajpur & ShankarpurSo without wasting much time, we got back on our scooty and prepared for the next journey.

What’s Coming Next?

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride – Jagannath Dham Digha Visit

Safarnama2

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride & Beach Morning (Part 3)

In the previous two parts of our journey, we completed our Hero Xoom 125 long ride from Khatra to New Digha and enjoyed a peaceful evening at the beach. That evening itself gave us a feeling that this trip was going to be special.

Now, this part begins from the next morning in Digha, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most beautiful experiences of our trip.

A Peaceful Morning in New Digha

The next morning, when we woke up, the atmosphere was completely different from the previous day. It was calm, fresh, and peaceful.

From our hotel balcony, we could see nearby hotels and their swimming pools. The morning light, cool breeze, and silence created a very relaxing vibe. Me and my wife Priyunka just stood there for a few minutes, enjoying the moment.

That’s the beauty of travel—sometimes doing nothing feels the best.

Hero Xoom 125 – Digha Trip

Beachside Breakfast Experience

After getting ready, we decided to go out for breakfast. Instead of eating at the hotel, we wanted something more local and lively.

So we went towards the New Digha beach side, where we found a canteen (most probably Central Canteen near the beach).

The ambience was really nice:

  • Light Bengali music playing 🎶
  • Cool sea breeze 🌊
  • Calm morning crowd

We ordered:

  • Egg poach
  • Aloo paratha (Priyunka’s choice 😄)
  • Chicken sandwich

The food was simple but very tasty. Sitting there, having breakfast near the beach—it felt peaceful and satisfying.

Morning Walk at Digha Beach

After breakfast, we went straight to the beach.

Compared to the previous evening, the beach was less crowded. Some people were enjoying the sea, some were taking a bath, and others were just sitting and relaxing.

The waves were calm, and the environment felt fresh. It was the perfect start to the day after our Hero Xoom 125 long ride journey.

About Jagannath Dham Digha (History & Importance)

After spending some time at the beach, we decided to visit the newly built and famous Jagannath Dham Digha.

This temple is inspired by the world-famous Jagannath Temple of Puri (Odisha), which is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India.

The original Jagannath Temple in Puri is dedicated to:

  • Lord Jagannath
  • Lord Balabhadra
  • Goddess Subhadra

It is also known for the famous Rath Yatra festival, which attracts millions of devotees every year.

The Jagannath Dham in Digha is built to give a similar spiritual experience to visitors in West Bengal. It has quickly become a major attraction for both tourists and devotees.

How to Reach Jagannath Dham Digha

Reaching Jagannath Dham Digha is very easy:

🚆 By Train:

  • Nearest station: New Digha Railway Station
  • Regular trains available from Kolkata

🚌 By Bus:

  • Direct buses from Kolkata and nearby cities

🛵 By Personal Vehicle (Best Option):

We visited via our Hero Xoom 125, which gave us full freedom to explore.

Our Ride to Jagannath Dham Digha

We started our ride from New Digha on our Hero Xoom 125.

The road was smooth, and the ride was comfortable. Within a short time, we reached the temple.

Parking & Entry Experience

One thing that really impressed us was the excellent facility at the temple.

  • Spacious parking area (FREE)
  • Separate shoe/chappal counter (FREE)
  • Clean and well-managed environment

We parked our scooty safely, submitted our shoes, and entered the temple complex.

Temple Architecture & Darshan Experience

The temple is huge and beautifully designed.

As we entered:

  • We saw a large temple complex
  • Clean pathways
  • Water bodies around the temple area

On the right side, there was 3 Raths (chariots) of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra.

As we moved towards the main temple, the architecture looked grand and peaceful at the same time. The structure is inspired by traditional temple design, and the entire place feels very spiritual.

Finally, we reached the main sanctum and took darshan of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra.

The experience was calm, divine, and satisfying.

Jagannath Temple Digha

Prasad Experience

After darshan, we went to the prasad section.

  • Free prasad was available
  • Paid prasad was also available

We took both:

  • Free prasad for immediate blessing
  • Paid prasad to take home

Everything was well organized and clean.

Leaving the Temple

After spending some peaceful time inside the temple, we came out.

The weather was sunny, and the temple looked even more beautiful under the bright sky.

We collected our shoes, took our Hero Xoom 125, and started heading back.

Plan to Take Bath at the Beach

After visiting the temple, we thought of taking a bath in the sea.

So we again rode towards the beach side.

But when we reached, we noticed something important:

👉 High tide had started

The waves were strong, and it didn’t feel safe to go into the sea.

New Digha Beach

Change of Plan – Swimming Pool Time

Instead of taking any risk, we made a simple decision:

👉 “Let’s go back to the hotel and use the swimming pool.”

So once again, we started our Hero Xoom 125 (short ride this time 😄) and returned to our hotel.

Final Thoughts of This Part

This part of our journey was a perfect mix of:

  • Peaceful morning
  • Beachside breakfast
  • Spiritual temple visit
  • Safe travel decisions

Our Hero Xoom 125 long ride was not just about covering distance—it became a part of every moment of this trip.

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride – New Digha Beach Evening Experience

After completing our long and memorable Hero Xoom 125 long ride from Khatra to New Digha in the first part, we finally reached our hotel around 5:30 PM. The journey was tiring but exciting at the same time.

We had one small plan in mind — to relax in the swimming pool of our hotel. But as soon as we checked in, we realized something unfortunate.

The pool timing was till 6:00 PM only.

With barely 30 minutes left and after such a long ride, it didn’t feel practical to rush. So instead of forcing ourselves, me and Priyunka looked at each other and smiled.

👉 “Let’s go to the beach instead.”

And honestly, that one decision made our evening unforgettable.

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride Evening Turns Into Beach Bliss

After freshening up quickly, we stepped out again — this time not for riding long distances, but to relax and enjoy.

Our Hero Xoom 125 long ride companion was still with us, and instead of parking it far away, we decided to take it along towards the beach market side.

The weather was perfect.

The sky had that soft evening glow, and a cool breeze was already flowing from the sea. As we approached New Digha Beach, the sound of waves slowly started becoming louder.

That moment… after a long ride… felt truly special.

Digha Beach

First Glimpse of New Digha Beach

As we reached the beach, the view was just mesmerizing.

The sea waves were hitting the shore with a calm rhythm, and people were enjoying their evening — some walking, some sitting quietly, and some just watching the endless horizon.

After completing such a long ride, standing there in front of the sea felt like a reward.

The tiredness disappeared instantly.

Exploring the Beach Market with Our Scooty

One unique thing we did during this trip was something not many people try.

Instead of parking our scooty at one place, we actually took our Hero Xoom 125 along the beach market area and explored different spots comfortably.

It gave us a different kind of freedom.

We could stop anywhere, check any stall, and move ahead without any hassle. This is something you can’t enjoy if you come by Digha train or Digha bus.

Our Hero Xoom 125 long ride wasn’t just about reaching Digha — it became a part of our entire experience.

Street Food Heaven – Fresh Fish Experience

If you visit Digha and don’t try seafood, your trip is incomplete.

The beachside market was full of food stalls, and the aroma of freshly fried fish was everywhere.

We couldn’t resist.

There were so many options:

  • Pomfret (Paplet)
  • Crab
  • Prawns
  • Vola Vetki
  • Bhetki Fry
  • Octopus

Everything looked fresh and tempting.

We ordered a few items, and within minutes, hot and crispy fish was served to us.

The taste?

Absolutely amazing.

The fish was fresh, perfectly fried, and full of flavor. Sitting near the beach, enjoying seafood with the sound of waves in the background — it was one of the best moments of our Hero Xoom 125 long ride trip.

Trying Something Different

One interesting thing we tried was octopus.

It’s not something we eat regularly, but since we were there, we thought — why not try something new?

And honestly, it turned out to be a fun experience. Along with that, we also had prawns and some more fried fish.

Food always becomes more special when you’re traveling.

Evening Market Vibes

As the evening progressed, the beach market became more lively.

Lights started glowing, people were shopping, kids were playing, and the whole place had a festive vibe.

We walked around, explored different stalls, and also bought some cashew nuts and dry fruits from local vendors.

The atmosphere was full of life.

After a long ride, this relaxed and cheerful environment felt perfect.

Digha Beach Market

Small Moments, Big Memories

What made this evening special was not just the place, but the feeling.

Me and Priyunka were just enjoying every moment — walking together, trying food, laughing, and simply living the experience.

There was no hurry, no stress… just peace.

That’s what travel should feel like.

Dinner by the Beach

After roaming around for quite some time, we started feeling tired.

The Hero Xoom 125 long ride, followed by walking and exploring, had taken its toll.

So we decided to have our dinner there itself at the beachside.

The dinner was simple but satisfying. The cool sea breeze, the sound of waves, and the calm night environment made it even more enjoyable.

Ending the Day

After dinner, we slowly made our way back to the hotel.

The streets were calmer now, and the night had taken over the sky.

We parked our Hero Xoom 125, went back to our room, and finally took some rest.

Lying on the bed, we both felt one thing:

👉 Today was worth it.

From the long ride to the peaceful beach evening, everything came together beautifully.

What’s Coming Next?

This was just the second part of our journey.

In the next part, we will share:

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride | Khatra to New Digha Budget Travel Story

Travel doesn’t always need big planning or a huge budget. Sometimes, all you need is a simple idea and the right partner. That’s exactly how our Hero Xoom 125 long ride to New Digha started.

Me and my wife Priyunka were planning for a short trip, something affordable and relaxing. After checking options like Digha train, Digha bus, and multiple Digha hotel listings, we decided to do something different — a road trip.

Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride – Khatra to New Digha Journey 🛵

Instead of public transport, we planned our Hero Xoom 125 long ride from Khatra to New Digha, the distance was around 250 KM, and we were excited to test how our scooty performs on a long route. We also booked a budget New Digha hotel, as there are plenty of affordable options available.

A Late Start but Strong Beginning 🌅

We had planned to start early morning, but we finally began our Hero Xoom 125 long ride at around 8 AM. Even though we started late, the excitement of the ride made everything feel perfect.

Route & Road Experience 🛣️

Our route was:

Khatra → Lokkhi Sagar → Goaltor → Medinipur → Kharagpur → New Digha

The initial road had some rough patches, but once we crossed that, the journey became smooth. The highway near Kharagpur made our Hero Xoom 125 long ride more comfortable. Compared to Digha bus or Digha train, this road experience is much more enjoyable.

Lunch Stop – Simple but Memorable

During our Hero Xoom 125 long ride, we stopped at a roadside dhaba near Medinipur. The food was simple and delicious. These small breaks make long rides more enjoyable and refreshing.

Hero Xoom 125 Performance Review 🛵

Now the most important part — performance.

Our Hero Xoom 125 long ride experience was surprisingly smooth.

✔ Fully loaded scooty
✔ Two riders
✔ Stable performance
✔ Mileage around 46 KM/L

Honestly, the scooty exceeded our expectations.

Hero Xoom 125 Digha Trip

Slow Ride but Safe Ride ⏱️

Since it was my first long-distance ride, I kept a steady speed. Our Hero Xoom 125 long ride was more about enjoying the journey than rushing.

Safety always comes first.

Reaching New Digha 🌇

After a long journey, we reached New Digha around 5:30 PM.

Completing this Hero Xoom 125 long ride gave us a different level of satisfaction. The feeling of reaching your destination on your own vehicle is unmatched.

Missed the Pool 🏊 😅

Our hotel had a swimming pool, but it closed at 6 PM. So after our Hero Xoom 125 long ride, we couldn’t enjoy it.

Beach Time – Best Decision 🌊

Instead, we went to Digha beach.

The sea breeze and peaceful environment made our Hero Xoom 125 long ride completely worth it.

Digha Beach

Road Trip vs Train/Bus 🚆

Most people prefer Digha train or Digha bus, but this ride made us realize:

👉 Road trips give freedom
👉 You explore more
👉 Every moment becomes a memory
