Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride – New Digha Beach Evening Experience
After completing our long and memorable Hero Xoom 125 long ride from Khatra to New Digha in the first part, we finally reached our hotel around 5:30 PM. The journey was tiring but exciting at the same time.
We had one small plan in mind — to relax in the swimming pool of our hotel. But as soon as we checked in, we realized something unfortunate.
The pool timing was till 6:00 PM only.
With barely 30 minutes left and after such a long ride, it didn’t feel practical to rush. So instead of forcing ourselves, me and Priyunka looked at each other and smiled.
👉 “Let’s go to the beach instead.”
And honestly, that one decision made our evening unforgettable.
Hero Xoom 125 Long Ride Evening Turns Into Beach Bliss
After freshening up quickly, we stepped out again — this time not for riding long distances, but to relax and enjoy.
Our Hero Xoom 125 long ride companion was still with us, and instead of parking it far away, we decided to take it along towards the beach market side.
The weather was perfect.
The sky had that soft evening glow, and a cool breeze was already flowing from the sea. As we approached New Digha Beach, the sound of waves slowly started becoming louder.
That moment… after a long ride… felt truly special.
First Glimpse of New Digha Beach
As we reached the beach, the view was just mesmerizing.
The sea waves were hitting the shore with a calm rhythm, and people were enjoying their evening — some walking, some sitting quietly, and some just watching the endless horizon.
After completing such a long ride, standing there in front of the sea felt like a reward.
The tiredness disappeared instantly.
Exploring the Beach Market with Our Scooty
One unique thing we did during this trip was something not many people try.
Instead of parking our scooty at one place, we actually took our Hero Xoom 125 along the beach market area and explored different spots comfortably.
It gave us a different kind of freedom.
We could stop anywhere, check any stall, and move ahead without any hassle. This is something you can’t enjoy if you come by Digha train or Digha bus.
Our Hero Xoom 125 long ride wasn’t just about reaching Digha — it became a part of our entire experience.
Street Food Heaven – Fresh Fish Experience
If you visit Digha and don’t try seafood, your trip is incomplete.
The beachside market was full of food stalls, and the aroma of freshly fried fish was everywhere.
We couldn’t resist.
There were so many options:
- Pomfret (Paplet)
- Crab
- Prawns
- Vola Vetki
- Bhetki Fry
- Octopus
Everything looked fresh and tempting.
We ordered a few items, and within minutes, hot and crispy fish was served to us.
The taste?
Absolutely amazing.
The fish was fresh, perfectly fried, and full of flavor. Sitting near the beach, enjoying seafood with the sound of waves in the background — it was one of the best moments of our Hero Xoom 125 long ride trip.
Trying Something Different
One interesting thing we tried was octopus.
It’s not something we eat regularly, but since we were there, we thought — why not try something new?
And honestly, it turned out to be a fun experience. Along with that, we also had prawns and some more fried fish.
Food always becomes more special when you’re traveling.
Evening Market Vibes
As the evening progressed, the beach market became more lively.
Lights started glowing, people were shopping, kids were playing, and the whole place had a festive vibe.
We walked around, explored different stalls, and also bought some cashew nuts and dry fruits from local vendors.
The atmosphere was full of life.
After a long ride, this relaxed and cheerful environment felt perfect.
Small Moments, Big Memories
What made this evening special was not just the place, but the feeling.
Me and Priyunka were just enjoying every moment — walking together, trying food, laughing, and simply living the experience.
There was no hurry, no stress… just peace.
That’s what travel should feel like.
Dinner by the Beach
After roaming around for quite some time, we started feeling tired.
The Hero Xoom 125 long ride, followed by walking and exploring, had taken its toll.
So we decided to have our dinner there itself at the beachside.
The dinner was simple but satisfying. The cool sea breeze, the sound of waves, and the calm night environment made it even more enjoyable.
Ending the Day
After dinner, we slowly made our way back to the hotel.
The streets were calmer now, and the night had taken over the sky.
We parked our Hero Xoom 125, went back to our room, and finally took some rest.
Lying on the bed, we both felt one thing:
👉 Today was worth it.
From the long ride to the peaceful beach evening, everything came together beautifully.
